Perform a thorough financial analysis

Before I provide any advice, I do a thorough financial analysis of my clients’ present personal financial situation and take the time to understand their financial and family goals. This includes meeting with my clients and carefully reviewing copies of their important documents like investment statements, wills, insurance policies and other personal papers. Any personal information a client gives me will be kept in the strictest confidence.

Formulate specific answers and targeted strategies

After completing this analysis, I formulate specific answers and targeted strategies to help my clients achieve their goals. I use the experienced in-house estate planning, investment and insurance teams at Summit Financial Resources, Inc. to make sure that my advice and solutions are appropriate, responsive to my clients’ needs and up to date.

Clearly explain the relevant choices

Before my clients make any decisions concerning investments or other financial products they might need to reach their goals, I clearly explain to them all the relevant choices and alternatives they have to choose from so that any decisions they need to make are informed decisions. I enjoy taking the “mystery” out of financial products and services. When I recommend a financial product or service, it is because I believe that product or service is appropriate for my clients needs and is competitively priced. Whatever my clients decide, I will assist them every step of the way to help them implement their financial strategies.

Deliver coordinated advice and planning

Most clients come to me frustrated because they are using multiple advisors to answer their financial questions. The solutions and advice they have been receiving are “uncoordinated”. Often the advice or solutions they receive from one of their advisors nullifies or contradicts advice or a solution they received from another of their advisors.  Sometimes the advice they have received relies on the client taking action steps to implement, which often get neglected.  This is inefficient, expensive and prone to mistakes. Because I am experienced and qualified to advise my clients in many areas, my advice will be “coordinated”. The answers and strategies that I suggest to my clients will not conflict with or contradict each other. When I work with my clients’ other trusted advisors, CPA’s and attorneys, I make sure so that the coordinated effort assists in meeting my clients’ objectives.

Leverage Summit’s 30+ years of extensive relationships

Because Summit Financial Resources, Inc. has been in existence for over 30 years it has developed extensive brokerage and agency relationships in the investment and insurance communities which means that I have available to me a wide selection of investment choices and insurance carriers that I can draw on for my clients to use and benefit from.  However, Summit is privately owned and is a registered investment advisor.  In addition, Summit owns its own independent broker dealer. This means that the only factor I consider when making recommendations or suggestions to my clients for any financial product or service is what is best for them.  My clients’ interests come first!
